The A-list was founded by two students at the University of Minnesota—Matt Norris and Asha Sharma. Together they combined their public policy and business backgrounds along with their shared passion for youth to create a new movement in youth engagement.
Matt Norris
Matt started working with the City of Brooklyn Park at the age of 16 on providing more opportunities for youth. In 2007, Matt co-founded Champions for Youth, the city’s official youth engagement initiative and received the Key to the City for his efforts. In addition to his work with local government, Matt has interned for the Minnesota State Senate and in Washington for U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
Asha Sharma
A graduate of the Carlson School of Management, Asha brings to the table a rich background of business experience at a young age.
