The A-list concept first began as an idea of Brooklyn Park youth in a class at Park Center Senior High to launch a teen-run business. Although the idea quickly gained traction and support of local leaders, the dream unfortunately never made it off the ground. However, one year later, Asha Sharma and Matt Norris--the two founders--got together and began the process of turning the teens’ dream into a reality. Working together, they created a business model that would revolutionize the way businesses and non-profits interact with one another, while also giving the youth of Brooklyn Park what they had been yearning for—a safe place in the community where they could hang out, participate in programs, and get jobs.
