How To Apply
Please email us a brief summary of why you would like to be a part of this organization and how you would be a great asset to our program. Please attach an updated resume. In the email, also include your contact information and what days of the week, if known, you will be available during the school year to help. If chosen as a tutor for our program, The A-list is required to conduct a criminal background check on any person working with youth. The A-list is looking for upbeat, caring educators to guide the students on the right path toward adulthood.
The A-list’s tutoring program is unlike any other. Located in a fun, “coffee-shop” environment, The A-list tutoring program feels like anything but a classroom. Students stream in and out on a regular basis always providing a new challenging problem to solve and another young person to help.

What We Need from Our Tutors
- 3-5 tutors per day, specializing in math, science, English, or the education field
- Must be able to commit to at least one day per week
- Must be respectful and caring toward the students
- Must attend a brief information session to learn more about how to interact with students, what it means to be a part of The A-list, and what we are expecting from our tutors during the time they are working. (This will count towards service-learning hours.)
